Background

SEIU Healthcare is a healthcare worker’s union. They wanted to create an app to connect with their members. This app would be the hub for queries, union resources, and news.

My role was to write microcopy to guide users through the app.

Onboarding screens

Since the app was loaded with information and resources, there’s a lot to browse. To help users get a sense of the main actions they can take, we created a brief overview of 3 most useful interactions.

Navigation tutorial

Healthcare workers often work at more than one place and have union contracts at more than 1 healthcare organization. To help them navigate the long documents, we looked at different ways for users to easily skip to important sections.

Working with the UX designer, we came up with a table of contents for scanning sections and incorporated a search function for keyword search within documents.
